Official Launch or the Global Studies programme by Prof. Philip McCarty, University of California, Irvine
The first week of Semester 1, 2018 was a milestone moment for the Global Studies programme at the University of Auckland. In our first semester of operation, with over 120 new students enrolled, we were honoured and delighted to welcome Prof. Philip McCarty to officially launch our programme.
The University of California (at Santa Barbara and now at Irvine) is a leader in the Global Studies field and has been generous in its support as we developed our programme. Prof McCarty brought his inexhaustible energy and expertise to our party in a busy programme of events.
